COVID-19 Service Information

TJ is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of its employees and customers through this challenging time. We are doing everything we possibly can to ensure that we are being proactive in continuing to provide our customers with what they need, whilst also following the guidance issued by HM Government. 

As an organisation operating within the waste management and transport sectors, TJ employees qualify for key worker status serving critical front-line services, their supply chains, essential businesses and the general public. We have received guidance from HM Government that our business is not on the list of non-essential businesses ordered to close as of 23 March 2020. However, disruption to our usual services is inevitable and our current service information can be found below.

Skip and roll on/off hire

Available for delivery/collection to/from construction projects, commercial premises and general public. No service on Saturdays until further notice.

Waste disposal facilities

Our Materials Recovery Facilities are available for disposal of all waste streams. However, they will be closed on Saturdays until further notice and are not available for general public use.

Aggregates and muck away

Available – some third party sites are closed, which may affect the availability of some materials and disposal options; please check when ordering.

Sweeper hire

Available. Priority availability for street cleansing on construction, critical infrastructure and front-line service premises.

Van recycling collections

We are continuing to collect waste and recycling from all scheduled customers. We are prioritising availability for critical infrastructure and front-line service premises.
