Sponsoring Yapton Summer Fair 2025

TJ Waste is sponsoring Yapton Summer Fair 2025, which will take place on Saturday 12th July from 12.30pm on Yapton Playing Fields.

TJ Waste has been sponsoring the fair since 2017. This year’s sponsorship consists of on-site waste management support during the event. We will deliver a number of bins to the site the day before the event, and collect them on the Monday afterwards, taking them back to our Yapton Materials Recovery Facility for sorting, segregation and onward recycling.

We are committed to diverting as much waste as possible from landfill and endeavour to recycle up to 100% of the waste we handle. All waste is processed in line with WRAP protocol.

The event, which will kick off at 12.30pm, is organised by Yapton & District Cottage Gardeners Society and combines the idea of a traditional summer fair with a flower and produce show.

The Fair will include a fun dog show, live music, stalls, cream teas, hot food, magician,face painting, classic cars, tombola, ice-cream van, a steam engine and kids games.

The Fair is one of a number of community events that we’ve sponsored or supported in recent years. Other events include the Portsmouth Marathon, for which we’re the headline sponsor, Wessex Heartbeat’s Heart and Stroll, Mountjoy’s Charity Golf Day, and Mission Christmas.

Our sponsorship packages vary according to the event, and could include the provision of waste management services, monetary donations or other types of support.
